The GT series parting and grooving tools are newly developed by GESAC, offering a wide range of geometry, multiple grades, and complete tool holders. This series is the optimal choice for parting, grooving, turning and profiling. It includes 11 geometries and 6 grades, suitable for steel, stainless steel, cast iron and high-temperature alloys. The high-pressure cooling tool holders are also provided to extend insert life and improve chip breaking performance for extreme machining demands.

02 Application Cases
PART/1 Parting
In this case, the MC geometry with GAT7125 grade is used for parting the splined shaft, the material is SUS304. Each cutting edge processes 1,600 pieces, achieving 100% improvement in tool life compared to competitor.

PART/2 Grooving
In this case, the FG geometry with GST7115 grade is used to machine the engine case, the material is GH4169. Achieves good chip evacuation during processing; each cutting edge processes 2 pieces, performance comparable to competitor.

PART/3 Profiling
In this case, the MR geometry with GST7135 grade is used for profiling the piston cavity, the material is 38MnVS6. Each cutting edge processes 550 pieces, performance comparable to competitor.

PART/4 Turning
In this case, the OT geometry with GP1120 grade is used to cut the Hydraulic cylinder piston, the material is C45. Each cutting edge processes 45 pieces, with a 50% improvement compared to competitor.
